Brocker.Org: Goldman Sachs documents $one billion countersuit versus Indonesian businessman

Goldman Sachs submitted a $one billion counter lawsuit on Tuesday versus an Indonesian businessman who is looking for damages from the U.S. lender for conducting what he referred to as “unlawful” trades in the shares of a property organization.

Benny Tjokrosaputro, president director of Indonesian property developer PT Hanson International, submitted a lawsuit in a Jakarta court on Sept. 8 versus Goldman’s device, Goldman Sachs International.

Tjokrosaputro, who suggests that he owned the 425 million Hanson shares that Goldman traded, is looking for fifteen trillion rupiah ($ billion) in compensation from Goldman Sachs International and wishes its belongings frozen in Indonesia and abroad.

Goldman had mentioned in response that Goldman Sachs International was the lawful operator of the Hanson shares.
