There is a major police operation going on at the Paris Gare du Nord station, Europe’s busiest railway station.
Police are looking for three wanted men who are thought to be dangerous after sightings reported of these men who are who are the subject of an ongoing manhunt. However, it is still unclear whether the sightings are indeed credible (Previous sightings in Paris, Bordeaux and Marseille have not amounted to anything).
Nevertheless, heavily armed police officers have entered the station and ordered people to evacuate.
This comes just a day after Le Pen, the nationalist and anti-immigration party, lost by a landslide to the Centralist Macron.
Lawmakers approved the fifth extension of special security powers until July 15th, which were put in place after attacks in Paris that killed 130 people in November 2015.
