The latest release of the consumer selling price index for the month of
February came in almost right in line with
expectations on Wednesday.
The index monitoring the prices of consumer items rose
.1% month-over-month (.% anticipated) and increased by
two.seven% year-over-calendar year (two.seven% anticipated).
Core CPI, which strips out the volatile food items and power
categories, increased .two% from January (o.two% anticipated) and two.two%
from the similar month a calendar year ago (two.two% anticipated).
The release was the highest headline obtain for the index
considering the fact that February 2012 when it increased two.9%.
