Accuracy matters more than speed. When we get something wrong, we correct it visibly.
How to report an error
Use the Report this article form at the bottom of any post, or contact us via the Contact page. Include the URL, what is wrong, and a primary source if you have one.
How we correct
- Factual errors in the body are fixed in place. Significant corrections also get an Update banner at the top of the article with the date and a short explanation.
- Scheduled or developing stories (launches, patch days, court rulings) receive an Update when the outcome is known, or a link to a follow-up article.
- Headlines that overstate certainty are rewritten to match the evidence.
- We do not silently rewrite history for minor wording polish; material changes are disclosed.
What we do not do
- We do not remove articles solely because a subject dislikes coverage.
- Legal or privacy requests are reviewed case by case.
- Unverified tip emails are not published as fact.
