NVIDIA put Remedy Entertainment's CONTROL Resonant on GeForce NOW today, so the paranatural action game is immediately playable through the cloud service. The launch also lands in the final days of a promotional bundle tied to the premium Ultimate tier.
That bundle throws in the game at no extra cost with a 12-month Ultimate membership purchase. The offer runs through Sunday, September 27.
On Ultimate, CONTROL Resonant streams with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud. The feature list includes DLSS 4, ray tracing, Reflex, and Cinematic Quality Streaming. Supported devices can push up to 5K high dynamic range. Streaming also sidesteps the game's 100 GB local install.
CONTROL Resonant is one of nine games joining the cloud this week. Hound13's DragonSword: Awakening leads the rest of the slate: an anime-style open world set on the continent of Orbis, where players can assemble a team from 19 heroes. It streams on supported devices including Steam Deck, Firefox browsers, and Amazon Fire TV. The list also includes Dune: Awakening, a new Xbox release available on Game Pass, and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Steam. NVIDIA notes that store release dates can differ from cloud availability, because games are onboarded after release and added through the week.
Separately, GeForce NOW support is coming to Googlebooks, Google's new laptop category that combines ChromeOS and Android and is the first designed for Gemini Intelligence. Support will arrive as Googlebooks roll out this fall, and NVIDIA says more availability details will follow later this year.
