How it connects to Mythos 5
Anthropic’s June materials say Mythos 5 is the same underlying model as Fable 5 with safeguards lifted in some areas, initially for Glasswing partners, with intent to broaden via a trusted access program. Treat any partner-specific deployment detail not on Anthropic’s pages as unknown.
Our take
In our view, Glasswing is Anthropic’s answer to a paradox: the same coding depth that wins developer mindshare also raises offensive cyber risk. Gating Mythos while selling Fable is the commercial compromise.
